It’s fitting then, that on the eve of the brand’s quarter-century anniversary in Canada (which we were able to attend on Robson Street), that the fresh design direction takes cues from the must-have pieces of American youth, with its all-American aesthetic that resonates globally, including the ubiquitous heather-grey Gap logo sweatshirt.
Gap is a culture clinging to the feel-good “the home of casual fashion” nostalgia. So many people have that fond memory of the perfect sweatshirt, which was most likely one from Gap. As such, stores are being stocked with familiar pieces this fall, including the iconic staples selected by Flare Magazine editors, and 2015 fall trends.
