DISH JEANS “Performance Denim” Launch Party

“Sitting on the edge of mountains and beaches, Vancouver is known for a lifestyle where you go to work and are active whether there is sun, rain, heat, cold or mud. We design jeans that work with you as you work, bike, walk, garden, canoe, snowshoe or for whatever you do… and allow you to do it all in style.” – Dish Jeans
Dish Jeans has launched a new concept for denim jeans called “Performance Denim” and they had a great party to celebrate this reinvention on Friday September 18th. They have chosen to change the way we look at jeans and allow us to not have to choose between style and comfort! So simple, yet brilliant. Vancouver is the home of Dish Jeans, which inspired them to think up this new concept. Living in Vancouver seems to require a lot of walking, biking and just moving in general so investing in jeans that allow you to look great while being comfortable seems like a no-brainer. They are using a fabric called “Coolmax” which moves perspiration away from the body letting us feel cooler and more comfortable.
Dish jeans opened a new office and show room space in Railtown, Vancouver where they chose to have a pretty incredible launch party. The event was catered by a gourmet french food truck called “Ze Bite”, who offered up delicious sandwiches and Body Energy Club supplied fresh juices. It was nice to see so many attendees at this event supporting a local brand. They also provided entertainment for the guests by allowing us witness these jeans in action and also had the jeans out on display to check out and try on.
This event was planned out and executed flawlessly, just how I in-vision this new concept of jeans to play out, a huge success!
