Naturally, this celebration calls for my first style diary of the year after the arrival of my little dude ;p
The last 6 weeks have been a whirlwind of minimal sleep, lots of dirty diapers and constant feeding, which doesn’t sound appealing in the slightest but let me tell you, it’s all completely outweighed and forgotten in an instant the moment Liam gurgles or gives a little smile, the way he snuggles up to me and all the other special moments in between.
So back to style talk – the sunny Vancouver weather inspired me to freshen up my look and this blouse packed the perfect punch of colour which is made even brighter against the dark tan vintage leather coat.
Graphic prints, sporty street and 60s mod silhouettes!
This was certainly a fun outfit for Vancouver Fashion Week. I was drawn like a moth to a flame with this bold paintbrush print in a 60s mod style dress. I added a bit of street with the printed leggings and a bit of sporty spice with the mesh layer underneath. A little contrasting pop of colour never hurt anyone either – so paired it up with my fave blue suede ankle booties ;p
I’m ‘squeezing’ in the last of my summer wardrobe while this beautiful weather sticks around this week!
Still no maternity clothes in sight for this mama, but I suspect this pencil skirt & crochet crop top combo won’t be fitting me in the next couple weeks. I absolutely get a kick (and a few from my little man too!) out of this blue, green and crisp white combo – so refreshing!
